Questions about plans
Is Starter really free?
Yes. Starter has no monthly fee. You pay a platform fee only when a customer pays for a booking (1.5% of a full payment or 5% of a deposit), and a flat fee of A$1.25 for each Pay Later appointment you create. Stripe's processing fee is separate.
Do I need a paid plan to take bookings and payments?
No. Booking links, QR codes, Stripe payments, deposits, reminders, the customer portal, Google Calendar sync, Pay Later, packages and AI setup are all in Starter. Pro and Business add a website, your own booking questions, calendar busy-time blocking, more AI credits and lower booking fees.
When does a paid plan pay for itself?
On full payments alone, Pro costs less than Starter once your customers pay you more than A$3,800 in a month, and Business once they pay you more than A$4,900. Deposits have a bigger fee difference, so they reach that point sooner.
Do my customers pay more on Starter?
No. Customers pay the price you set. The platform fee comes out of the payment to you.
Which currency will I be billed in?
Your country's currency: AUD in Australia, GBP in the United Kingdom, NZD in New Zealand and CAD in Canada. Taxes, where they apply, are shown at checkout.
How does yearly billing work?
A yearly plan costs 10 times the monthly price, so you get 12 months for the price of 10.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. You can upgrade, change or cancel at any time from your dashboard. If you cancel a paid plan, your account goes back to Starter.
What are AI credits?
AI credits are used when SoloPayLink's AI does work for you, such as setting up your services or answering your questions. Starter includes 30 a month, Pro 300 and Business 1,000.
Ready to get booked and paid?
Start on Starter for free. Set up your business, connect Stripe and share your booking link. Upgrade only when a plan pays for itself.
