What is SoloPayLink exactly?
SoloPayLink is a simple booking link for solo service business owners. You create one booking page, share it anywhere, and customers can choose a time and pay securely online.
What is a booking link and what is the benefit?
A booking link is your public page for bookings. Instead of replying to messages one by one, you share one link and customers book and pay from there. It saves time and looks more professional.
How many payment types or payment statuses are there?
The main payment types are Pay Full, Pay Deposit, and Pay Later. After booking, statuses can show Fully Paid, Deposit Paid, Pay Later, Refunded, Cancelled, Paid Completed, or Completed.
What is Pay Full?
Pay Full means the customer pays the full service price at the time of booking. The booking is confirmed immediately, and confirmation emails go to both the customer and the solo business owner.
What is Pay Deposit?
Pay Deposit means the customer pays only a deposit first to secure the slot. The remaining balance can be collected later by the owner or paid later through SoloPayLink when that option is available.
What is Pay Later?
Pay Later means the booking is created first and the payment is collected later. This is useful for trusted customers or manual bookings created by the solo business owner.
How does Pay Later work in simple English?
The booking is saved first without taking full payment online. Later, the owner can mark it paid after receiving money, or the customer can pay the remaining balance through a secure SoloPayLink payment link when available.
What is the customer portal? Is it the same portal for all customers?
Yes. SoloPayLink has one shared customer portal. Customers enter their own email address and only see their own bookings, payment status, and available actions.
Is SoloPayLink password based or passwordless?
SoloPayLink uses secure sign-in methods like Google sign-in and email login links. It is designed to be simple and does not rely on old-style password-heavy account setup.
Are any cards stored by SoloPayLink?
No. Card payments are handled by Stripe. SoloPayLink does not store customer card details.
Do customers need to create an account?
No. Customers can open the booking link, choose a time, and pay. For the customer portal, they sign in using their own email for secure access to their bookings.
What happens after payment?
After payment, the booking is confirmed, emails are sent, and the owner can see the booking in the dashboard. The booked time slot is also blocked so others cannot double-book it.
How do cancel and refund work?
Refund and cancellation depend on the booking type and refund window set by the owner. Paid bookings can be refunded when allowed. Pay Later bookings can be cancelled by the owner if needed. When a booking is cancelled, the slot becomes available again.
Who pays the SoloPayLink fee — the solo business owner or the customer?
The platform fee belongs to the solo business owner side of the booking flow. Customers pay for the service. Stripe processing fees also apply as part of payment processing.
How does the solo business owner pay SoloPayLink?
There is no monthly subscription payment to make. SoloPayLink fees are taken as part of the booking transaction flow, together with Stripe processing where applicable.
Are there any hidden charges or surprise fees?
No hidden charges. SoloPayLink is designed to be clear: platform fee plus normal Stripe payment processing fees where applicable.
Are there any monthly, annual, or subscription plans?

Do I have to fill all setup details?
You should fill the important business and booking details properly so your link works clearly for customers. Some fields are optional, but key setup fields help avoid confusion and booking mistakes.
Can I use SoloPayLink if I work part time?
Yes. SoloPayLink works well for part-time solo service providers because you can set your own working days, hours, notice period, and availability.
Can I use SoloPayLink if I have a team?
SoloPayLink is mainly built for one solo person running their own service business. If you have a full team with multiple staff calendars, this is not the main use case.

Can I change my user email address later?
Your login and account details depend on your authentication setup. If you need to change email-related details, use the proper account or support path instead of editing random fields in bookings.
How many services can I add, edit, or delete in one booking link?
You can manage multiple services inside one booking link. You can update service names, prices, durations, and settings from the dashboard when needed.
